Crime Survivors for Safety & Justice (CSSJ)

We are a national network of crime survivors joining together to create healing communities and shape public safety policy.

And our network is powerful.

We stand with victims of crimes all over the country giving survivors a voice in public policy. Crime survivors’ voices are being heard on a national level and we are leading change efforts in our communities and within our state. We are elevating the voices of crime victims to call for new safety priorities. Our experiences - the experiences of survivors - must be at the center of efforts to reduce the cycle of crime, improve community health, and reform our criminal justice system. We are important stakeholders, establishing our important place in discussions about policies that can transform families and communities throughout the country.
